About Leah

I'm a mom to twin 7 year old boys and married to my college sweetheart. I grew up in Carmel, IN and went to Butler University. I've always loved photography and taking pictures of friends, including being on my high school newspaper staff. Once I became a mom, that love of photos kicked into high gear! I love capturing memories for families, since I know how fast kids grow and change. I am also a music teacher; I used to teach middle school orchestra and now teach private violin and viola lessons. I love reading, but find I have less time for it at this point in my life! And I can always make time for chatting with friends over coffee...several cups! I look forward to meeting you and capturing some great moments for your family!

I am mostly a self-taught photographer, but I have taken many workshops, including one with Rachel Vanoven, and online classes with Sarah Beth Photography and the Milky Way among others. I shoot with a Nikon 750 and my 35mm lens.
